The first two photos are of laminitic horses with clogs screwed or glued on. The third picture is a prolapsed coffin bone with an abscess. A clog was screwed on with impression material applied first.
To change to heel and PA angel of the hoof a Heel Bulb Cast was applied. The first picture is before, picture 2 is preparation, the third picture is the cast and then the new angel after picture. The angle will increase 5 to 7 degrees after treatment which takes 14 days. This treatment was the brainchild of Dr. James Dorenkamp, of Desert Pines Equine Center, Las Vegas, NV.
These were laserated super and deep tendons supported by a custom made brace. This device is also used in cases with a broken sesmoid.
This was on a horse with a lacerated tendon.
